There’s nothing quite like the sacred stillness of the first 48 hours. That hazy in-between where time stands still, and everything changes all at once. I had the honor of capturing this beautiful Fresh 48 session just hours after baby girl made her debut into the world on May 25, 2025.

Born at 9:29 p.m., weighing 6 lbs 13 oz and measuring 19.34 inches long, this tiny bundle already radiates so much sweetness. Her dark hair, soft pink bow, and that perfect wrinkly newborn skin made her absolutely irresistible.

Fresh 48 sessions are all about the real and raw—baby in her hospital bassinet, mom and dad still glowing (and maybe a little sleep-deprived), tiny feet wrapped in hospital bands, and first-time cuddles that make your heart ache in the best way.

I loved how her parents looked at her like they’d been waiting their whole lives to meet her. Her mama gently cradled her while dad leaned in close, soaking in every detail. Those tender touches, the shared smiles, the quiet joy—these are the moments you’ll want to remember forever.

Baby girl was so calm and content as we documented her first morning light. And yes, her nursery blanket full of tigers, temples, and giraffes added a perfect touch of whimsy to the setting.
