Ellie was such a treat. A little chunky too! She gave me the best faces and even gave me some eye contact too! Awake baby doesn’t = bad newborn photos. I love a mix of both!

What made you choose Leslie Whitaker for your Newborn session?Leslie was mentioned in a "Shreveport/Bossier Moms" FB page when I was searching for maternity photographers. After looking at her website and seeing that she offered a package for both maternity and newborn photos, I was excited to work with her. I loved all the lighting and colors she used for sessions, and I appreciated the fact that I didn't have to worry about hair or makeup, because I'm completely inept at both.

What were you nervous about going into your session?I was most nervous about Ellie being a newborn and unpredictable :) I was really hoping she wouldn't cry the whole time or have any poop explosions during the shoot.

What was your favorite part of your session experience?How calm it was. And getting hair and makeup done. After 4 weeks of not sleeping, and not wearing anything other than pajamas, it was so nice to feel pampered and to look like I slept more than 1 hour. I also loved how gentle Leslie was with Ellie and that she really took her time getting the photos we wanted.

How do you feel now that you have completed your session and received your images?Obsessed! :) I'm sending a request to purchase more because I couldn't just pick 10. They're all so great and really captured Ellie's personality.
